In the same batch of photos that contained the photo of the race, I found this snapshot of someone who for all the world appears to be Errol Flynn after extreme living and the bottle got a hold of his dashing looks. After looking at many photos from his years just prior to his death, I am completely convinced that it is him looking out over Mulholland Drive, where he lived for many years and was certainly spotted from time to time by tourists in the area. One reason that I am so sure of the identity is that there are many other photographs that were part of the same group which were clearly from the Mulholland Drive area.
I love how the girl to the left is peering out, seemingly oblivious to the nearby celebrity.
I am also struck by his stance and attire. Good grief! Look out ladies, here comes trouble! If not for the fact he was famous, one might easily label him as an "undesirable." Ha!

HMMM A definite gad about one might think. Fun photo!. This could be quite entertaining I think. I used to spend some time in old and antique shops just checking out what was available. I think this may have contributed to 3300 hundred sq feet of "stuff" a few years ago..Photos take up less space!

So true, Linda, so true. One reason I like collecting these kinds of things as that they don't take up too much space that I clearly don't have. It's also easier to learn a back-story on a document rather than a random object like a rocking chair.

Anon, I agree it does not look like him in earlier years when he had his looks, but if you look at the photos of his last years I do see a resemblance. I could be wrong, of course, but it's fun to speculate.
